Partner HEIs Glasgow School of Art and Sichuan Fine Arts Institute signed articulation agreement

Barbara Redley, Dean of the School of Design of Glasgow School of Art in the UK, and the chief representative of China visited Sichuan Fine Arts Institute on 20th March.

Barbara Redley, Dean of the School of Design of Glasgow School of Art in the UK, and the chief representative of China visited Sichuan Fine Arts Institute on 20th March .

Professor Pang Maokun, Principal of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Professor Duan Shengfeng, Dean of the College of Design, Professor Zeng Yue, Director of International Office, and Mr. Li Xiang, UK representative of the Sino-UK Articulation Course, and also the Chief Representative of DJCAD, in the conference room on the second floor of the administrative building of Huxi Campus, with Barbara Redley held talks and signed a cooperation agreement on the Sino-UK Articulation Course (1+1+1).

During the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussions on the design concept, teacher training, student exchange, academic exchange and other aspects of the Sino-UK Articulation Course of common concern. In terms of the future development direction, talent training and characteristic research of the discipline of design, the two sides believe that the discipline of art design is an open, up-to-date and constantly innovative discipline system. As professional art university, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and Glasgow School of Art have more possibilities for cooperation in the future.

After the meeting, accompanied by Professor Zeng Yue and Mr. Li Xiang, Barbara Redley and her entourage visited the beautiful SCFAI campus and visited the teaching sites of the College of Visual Communication, the College of Industrial Design, the College of Environmental Art Design, the College of Clothing and Clothing design and also the College of Jewelry Design.
