Welsh Creative Education Forum held in Chengdu Shishi Tianfu High School

On the afternoon of October 29, ‘KEASS Creative Award - Welsh Creative Education Forum’ officially opened in the multi-function hall of Shishi Tianfu High School. Tang Yuyi, deputy director of International Department, Ms. Virginia West, director of Welsh Higher Education Commission, Ms. Ma Qingyun, representative of Welsh government office in Chongqing, and Mr. Li Xiang, creative director of KEASS attended the forum. The participants of this forum include both students from Shishi Tianfu High School, also teachers and students from various colleges and universities in the society. The forum aims to encourage Chinese young students to join the creative industry and provide them with a wide range of exchange opportunities for study and life.

At the forum, Ms. Virginia West gave a thematic report on the local conditions and customs of Wales, study abroad environment, discipline scope, students’ practical employment, as well as scholarships and preferential policies specially provided to foreign students. Ms. Ma Qingyun vividly described her colorful study experience in Wales and put forward valuable suggestions for students’ study abroad planning. The students listened carefully to the speeches of all professionals and carefully recorded the main points of their speeches. In order to answer the students’ questions and puzzles in many aspects, the forum specially arranged an on-site Q&A session. The enthusiastic guests patiently and carefully answered many questions of the students, pushing the open and active atmosphere of the forum to a climax. Behind the curtain of the forum, Tang Yuyi, deputy director of the International Department, had an in-depth exchange and discussion with all guests on topics of common concern.

The forum was fully affirmed by all participants and delivered rich information, which not only promoted the academic cooperation and development between Chengdu Shishi Tianfu High School and foreign universities, but also opened up the creative vision of our students and built a more gorgeous stage for the display of our style.
